Who Are We?
Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) is a team of caring professionals who provides services to special needs children ages birth to 36 months.
What We Do?
The EDIS staff works with children to identify and improve their individuals needs. We actively involve family members and caregivers in all aspects of treatment.
We provide early intervention services for children with developmental delays in areas such as; language, motor skills, self-help skills, and social skills.
Our team offers educational programs tailored to each child’s needs. EDIS also provides itinerate services in the area of child psychiatry, developmental pediatrics, audiologist, nutrition, and optometry.
Our staff works closely with the Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary School (DDESS) teachers and special educators to incorporate services into each child’s Individualized Education Plan.
Who May Call?
Any military family may call for questions regarding the growth and development of their child. If your family resides in base housing and your child is eligible to attend a DDESS school, we will perform a FREE developmental screening to help identify any special need.
If your family does not reside in base housing and your child is not eligible to attend a DDESS school, we may refer your child to a professional civilian counterpart in our local community.
