A new level of support is being provided to Marines and their families who are enrolled in the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP). A combination of increased resources, additional personnel, and technology has enabled the EFMP to more effectively support enrolled families and provide needed case management services.

EFMP Enrollment Process
The EFMP Program facilitates the enrollment process. We offer help in the preparation of the forms, review completed forms for accuracy, and forward the enrollment package to the Central Screening Committee at HQMC.
As a sponsor, you are responsible for contacting your EFMP and enrolling all family members with chronic medical, psychological, and educational problems requiring special services and maintaining a copy of the EFM forms. Reviewing completed applications and updating forms every two years or as your family status change. You are also responsible for dis-enrolling when divorce, or EFM is deceased, medical or educational needs no longer exist, or the family member no longer reside with the sponsor.
