Welcome to the New Web Based Tuition Assistance System!

Web-based military tuition assistance (TA) will save time, reduce running around for our Marines, and streamline processes for commands. Marines will fill out their TA applications from their work centers via an on-line portal. Command designated officers will also endorse the applications online. The Marine will be notified by email when the education office has processed the TA. Check out the process to see how it works, Click Here. For a fix for Web-TA document up-loading problems, Click Here. Contact your Education Office for any questions.

First time applicants of TA will need the following:

Must have a minimum GT score of 100 OR a minimum TABE score of 10.2 OR a MASP completion certificate before qualifying for Tuition Assistance. If you meet these requirements, you are ready to start the Tuition Assistance process. If you do not meet these qualifications, please contact our office.

Ready to start the TA process:

  1. Complete the College 101 course, print, sign and date the certificate at the end of the course.
  2. Print, read, initial and sign the Statement of Understanding.
  3. Obtain command approval and register for class with your school. Be sure to allow yourself plenty of lead time for the approval process with your command and the education office as TA CANNOT be authorized after the start date of the class.
  4. Proceed to the website: (Most likely your account will have a notice that you are not eligible for TA and will list the reasons - this is normal - Proceed to step 5.)
  5. Once signed into your account, click on “My Education Plan” and upload the signed College 101 Certificate, Statement of Understanding, and a Degree/Academic Plan OR SOCMAR agreement. The Degree/Academic Plan and/or SOCMAR agreement will be provided by your school.
  6. Call your education office to receive your initial counseling: MCAS: 843-228-7484 or MCRD: 843-228-3889.

  2. TA cannot be used to pay for flight training.
