Thursday: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

You will need to check in at the Douglas Visitors’ Center before going anywhere else on the island. Upon arrival, find the clipboard for your new Marine’s platoon, write down the number of visitors and a good cell phone number. Cell phone numbers are required and only used if a new Marine cannot find family and friends after the Liberty Ceremony and is instructed to go to the Douglas Visitors’ Center to contact their family. You’ll only need to check in once.

Marines will be on-staff to answer questions, give you a map of key locations around the island and let you know the best places to see during your visit. The Douglas Visitors’ Center also has select Marine Corps apparel and memorabilia. You can order an official Graduation DVD if you forgot to do so.
