MCAS Beaufort Fitness Center
The goal of Physical Fitness is to improve the quality of life for the members of our community, and to enhance readiness through the promotion and supporting of healthy lifestyles. Group fitness classes and personal training are offered on both MCAS Beaufort or MCRD Parris Island. The Semper Fit Physical fitness program provides guidance on exercise, injury prevention and nutritional information.

|MCAS Beaufort Classes
|BELLY DANCING: Shimmy your way to a trim waistline with the ancient art of mesmerizing Middle Eastern dance.
GLUTE CAMP: A progressive 8 week program targeting the lower body.
HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training. Moderate to intensive interval training involving various types of exercise.
HITT: The High Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) program for our active duty ONLY is a comprehensive combat-specific strength and conditioning program that is essential to a Marine’s physical development, combat readiness and resiliency.
POWER 30: Real busy? Got 30 minutes? We’ve got it covered! 30 exercises in 30 minutes! Fast paced fun for all your major muscle groups! C’mon, take the challenge!
SPIN X: 30 minutes of power spinning & 30 minutes of “X” (Kickbox, TRX, Tactical Fitness, Kettle Bell exercises, Functional Fitness drills or Circuit; each month the X Factor changes.) Come take the challenge for the entire hour, or just do the 30 minute segment of your choice!
TABATA: A very high-intensity workout. A Tabata workout (also called a Tabata sequence) is an interval training cycle of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest.
TRX: Suspension training, incorporating core strength and training.
UNIT PT: Get ready for your PFT/CFT with a Unit PT. (requests and walk-Ins available) Please see the Fitness Team for info.
YOGA: Come try the benefits of Yoga. Focused on the center point and breathing with poses flowing from one to another. You will build strength, flexibility, stamina and balance all while reducing stress. All levels Welcome.
ZUMBA®: A dance fusion class of Latin and International style music that creates an exciting and dynamic workout. This may include Hip Hop/Funk and Belly Dance styles to add to the fun. Feel the music!

Your e-mail request should include POC, phone number, email address, name of unit (if applicable), number of participants, desired date and time for class, length of class and class format desired.
